The Tompkins Swimming and Diving team is a competitive High School Swimming and Diving program located in Katy ISD. Swimmers should be able to legally swim all four strokes, dive in the pool and do each of the strokes flip turns in order to be considered for the swim team. If you are interested in joining the swim team, you may want to try the neighborhood summer league team or joining a club swim program.

A. Yes, girls need to be in a one piece swimsuit for try-outs. While boys can be either in jammers or speedos. There should be no swim "trunks" worn to try-outs.
2. Will I get a locker if I make the team?
A. Yes, all swimmers and divers will receive a locker they can use for the school year. These lockers should be locked while the swimmer or diver is not using it directly.
3. When is our season?
A. The swimming and diving season runs from October thru December for the Junior Varsity teams and from October thru February for the Varsity teams.
4. When would I practice?
A. Varsity practices in the mornings while Junior Varsity will practice after school. The practices run through the whole school year.
